We're looking for a practical, organised and detail-focused Goods Inwards and Dispatch Assistant to support our IT Project Team on a four month fixed term contract. Based at our Head Office in Hockley, Essex you will help receive new IT hardware into the business, process equipment through our stock management system, and prepare items for dispatch to office locations across the UK.
You'll be comfortable working in a hands-on role that involves manual handling, accurate data entry and regular communication with colleagues and suppliers. You will be organised, reliable and able to work independently while remaining calm and focused when priorities change. You need to be available to start in the next couple of weeks.

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Receiving deliveries of IT equipment into the building and checking items against the original order.
- Moving equipment safely into secure storage areas.
- Entering incoming stock onto the stock management system.
- Creating asset tags and preparing equipment ready for software build.
- Processing batches of IT equipment to meet the needs of colleagues across UK locations.
- Packing, wrapping and preparing outgoing deliveries.
- Liaising with delivery contractors and tracking shipments.
- Communicating with operational managers and colleagues by email and Microsoft Teams to provide updates, instructions and support with any issues.

- Good attention to detail when checking stock, asset tags and delivery information.
- Confidence using IT systems to enter, retrieve and update information accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage physical tasks and manual handling as part of the role.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with internal colleagues and external contacts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
