We are seeking an Employment Adviser to join our team. The role involves providing advice and support to guide participants to overcome employment barriers and achieve realistic job goals. You will manage a caseload, coach and mentor clients, and serve as the primary contact to build strong relationships, motivate, challenge, and encourage them toward sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising and supporting participants in overcoming employment barriers
- Managing a caseload of participants through their employment journey
- Coaching and mentoring clients to meet their employment goals
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with participants and stakeholders
- Providing ongoing motivation and encouragement to promote successful outcomes
Essential Skills and Experience
- Good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical area
- Basic knowledge of self‑employment
- High IT literacy using Microsoft Office programmes
- Experience in a target‑driven environment
- Experience delivering services that meet contractual and quality standards
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of the employability industry
- Knowledge of the recruitment industry
- Experience working with individuals in the provision of information, advice & guidance
Benefits
- Salary £26,500 to £29,545 per annum (based on experience)

Working Hours & Location
- 37 hours a week: Monday to Thursday 8.30am‑5pm, Friday 8.30am‑4.30pm. Office‑based role located in Bournemouth.
