Are you looking for a rewarding role that will allow you to utilise your current skills to influence, support and encourage others to build a future? This position is for an Employment Adviser to join our team. You will provide advice and support to guide and encourage participants to overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals. You will manage a caseload of participants, acting as their coach and mentor, and be the principal highly trusted contact to build strong positive relationships, guide, motivate, challenge, encourage and help customers obtain sustainable employment. We aim to empower lives and improve communities by delivering first class customer service.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we offer a competitive salary range of Β£26,500 to Β£29,545 per annum (dependent on experience) with additional benefits below. There’s also the opportunity to progress your career within the Seetec Group.

Location: This is an office-based role, working in North Walsham. Hours: 37 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5 pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. Closing Date: 13 November 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers using a range of strategies to help them overcome barriers to gaining employment.
  • Deliver a positive experience to new customers, ensuring engagement with you and the programme.
  • Achieve the Customer Service Standards required on the programme.
  • Facilitate assessments with each individual to understand personal circumstances, ambitions and goals.
  • Provide advice and guidance on basics of self-employment when appropriate and signpost to an internal self-employment specialist.
  • Co-produce personalised tailored Action Plans with SMART targets to enable progression.
  • Provide tailored support in all aspects of job-search and interview preparation to match customers to suitable roles.
  • Offer training/guidance to help customers master digital technologies and engage with self-service learning materials and online vacancies where required.
  • Ensure all relevant evidence requirements are met to verify job starts.
  • Understand the local labour market to source suitable job opportunities.
  • Undertake direct marketing to employers using digital channels and market specific customers to employers.
  • Identify recruitment needs of employers and undertake tailored prescreens and group assessments.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to maximise job opportunities (e.g., federation of small businesses, chamber of commerce, JCP partnership managers).
  • Maintain customer records to required compliance and quality standards (hard copy and system-held).
  • Develop understanding of specialist signposting services in the local area/region to support caseload management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure delivery of excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Good working knowledge of the local labour market in specified geographical locations.
  • Basic knowledge of self-employment.
  • Fully IT literate with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the employability and recruitment industries.
  • Experience working with people in information, advice & guidance provision.
  • Full driving licence.
