We’re looking for a Team Manager to join our Accommodation Support Team, working holistically with stakeholders to ensure our participants are fully supported with their housing needs. You’ll have operational responsibility of a team of Accommodation Support Officers, ensuring effective delivery of the Dynamic Framework Accommodation service both in custody and in the community. We’ll need you to ensure the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to our participants at a high standard, whilst also participating in the development and implementation of organisation-wide strategies and objectives.
Our successful candidate will have highly effective communication skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels and in a variety of settings. Detailed knowledge of local and national housing issues (including social deprivation and legislation) and a knowledge of the range and breadth of housing support providers is required. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, coach and develop the team, ensuring the delivery of a high‑quality service which meets the targets, standards and outcomes required.
- Ensure accommodation staff activities are appropriately risk assessed and adhere to health and safety policy and guidance.
- Encourage the development and maintenance of partnership working, and promote good public relations.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities that could be delivered by the accommodation team.
Skills and Experience
- Detailed knowledge of local and national housing issues including social deprivation and legislation.
- Knowledge of the range and breadth of housing support providers.
- Experience of working holistically with partners to achieve effective outcomes.
- A comprehensive understanding of offender management and risk management.
Job Details
- Location: Hybrid working, managing our teams across south west region. Travel around the region is required when necessary to attend meetings etc. Expenses paid.
- Hours: Full‑time, 37 hours per week (Mon‑Fri).
- Contract: Permanent.
