In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range of £26,500 to £29,545 per annum (dependent on experience) with the following additional benefits:
Location & Working Pattern: Office‑based role located in Bury St Edmunds, offering a structured and supportive working environment. Weekly working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm & Friday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring every individual feels supported, engaged and motivated throughout their journey.
- Manage a caseload of customers, using tailored strategies to help them overcome barriers and progress into sustainable employment.
- Work towards and exceed performance targets (KPIs), maintaining a strong focus on outcomes and results.
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand each customer’s circumstances, goals and ambitions, shaping personalised support plans.
- Create and deliver tailored action plans, providing practical job search, interview preparation and employment support.
- Build strong employer and stakeholder relationships, using local labour market knowledge to source opportunities and match customers to the right roles.
- Actively participate in and promote Prevent and the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Adhere to the company’s policies and procedures always, including safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, quality, health and safety and IT.
- Undertake any other duties as required, appropriate to the post.
- Foundational knowledge of self‑employment, with the confidence to offer initial guidance and signposting where needed.
- Confident IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and digital tools to support customers effectively.
- Proven ability to thrive in a target‑driven environment, with a focus on achieving and exceeding goals.
- Experience delivering high‑quality services, consistently meeting contractual requirements and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of the employability sector, with insight into effective approaches that support individuals into work.
- Knowledge of the recruitment landscape, with an appreciation of employer needs and hiring practices.
- Experience providing information, advice and guidance, with a passion for supporting people to make informed decisions and achieve their goals.
- Full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel as required to support customers and meet business needs.
