We're hiring for an Accommodation Support Officer to join our team and make a meaningful impact every day. Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? In this role, you will manage a caseload of adult males in custody via video link, working closely with probation practitioners and key stakeholders, carry out initial assessments to understand individual circumstances and develop tailored accommodation plans through structured interventions. You'll support participants in navigating housing challenges, ensure they are kept informed of decisions affecting them, and promote their understanding of rights, responsibilities, and available support.

Job Details
- Location: This role is based remotely; however, you must be located within the North West region. You will be required to attend meetings and visit prison sites as needed, depending on business requirements.
- Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri).
- Contract: Permanent.
- Closing Date: 03 June 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of participants, producing personalised accommodation plans.
- Carry out initial assessments, considering risk, situation and need.
- Record progress and outcomes timely and accurately using case management system.
- Maintain contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns.
Skills and Experience
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Good organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
