We’re hiring an Accommodation Support Officer to join our team and make a meaningful impact every day. In this role you will manage a caseload of adult males in custody, working closely with probation practitioners and key stakeholders to carry out initial assessments, understand individual circumstances, and develop tailored accommodation plans through structured interventions. You will support participants in navigating housing challenges, ensure they are informed of decisions affecting them, and promote their understanding of rights, responsibilities and available support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of participants, producing personalised accommodation plans
  • Carry out initial assessments, considering risk, situation and need
  • Record progress and outcomes timely and accurately using the case management system
  • Maintain contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns

Skills and Experience

  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive salary starting from £24,650 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
