Manufacturing Technician

SEERS Medical Ltd is the leading UK Manufacturer of Medical Couches, Treatment Tables and Ergonomic Seating. Products are designed & manufactured at our headquarters in Debenham, Suffolk.

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician to perform mechanical assembly, process setup and continuous improvement activities to ensure safe, efficient and compliant production of high quality medical devices.

Reporting directly to the manufacturing Manager, key resposibilities include:

· Perform mechanical assemblies as per drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.

· Contribute to the development of assembly documents by providing feedback on build methods and process efficiency.

· Execute sub-assemblies, wiring, and functional test sequences; documenting results.

· Identify non-conformances; quarantine product; support root cause analysis (5 Whys, Ishikawa) and corrective actions.

· Participate in standard work optimisation; update visual management boards.

· Uphold Health & Safety standards: safe manual handling, PPE use, Risk Assessments.

· Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve build issues and improve flow.

· Train and mentor operators on advanced tasks; share best practices.

· Provide timely feedback on buildability, defect patterns, and parts issues.

· Maintain accurate, legible, and timely records (digital and paper-based).

· Support shopfloor metrics (first-pass rate, output, scrap)

This is a full time permanent role working, 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Salary from £25,500 p/a, dependent on experience
