Our mission is to provide preemptive, critical insights that empower the world's preeminent organizations and vital government bodies. We are committed to protecting their people, assets, and operations through proactive threat forecasting, real-time event monitoring, and the strategic contextualization of intelligence.
About the Role: This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to join Seerist, a growing company creating the most exciting technology and tools for predictive security analysis on the market. As an Intelligence Researcher, you’ll be at the core of Seerist’s real-time global monitoring and situational awareness mission. You will detect, verify, and contextualize high-impact security incidents and planned events worldwide — blending traditional intelligence tradecraft with tech-enabled workflows.
We’re looking for early- to mid-career professionals who are detail-obsessed, fast-moving, and mission-driven. Whether you come from a GSOC, newsroom, military intel shop, NGO, or OSINT community — if you can think critically, write sharply, and operate under pressure — we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and Verify Global Events. Identify, vet, and document real-time security incidents and developments with global implications using OSINT best practices.
- Write with Impact. Produce concise, insightful situational summaries for high-impact and planned events that support decision-makers across sectors and geographies.
- Support 24/7 Global Coverage. Operate within a follow-the-sun model, including occasional weekend shifts to ensure around-the-clock intelligence delivery.
- Deep Research. Research news and open-source media and extract key details (e.g., casualties, damage, disrupted sectors) using the Seerist methodology.
- Peer Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing. Support colleagues, participate in peer reviews, and help raise analytic and operational standards across the team.
- Contribute to Reports. Identify trends in data and work to advance analytic narratives to inform and protect the client’s decision space.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree.
- Multilingual research capabilities; fluency in Arabic (reading) is highly desired.
- Background in international relations, political science, regional studies, or journalism.
- Proficiency using OSINT tools and digital verification methods.
- Experience in political, operational, or security risk intelligence.
- Strong English-language skills with the ability to draft short, grammatically correct products under deadline pressure with minimum editorial oversight.
- Comfort working in fast-paced teams with dynamic priorities and distributed workflows.
- Demonstrated collaboration experience (peer reviews, cross-functional teams, team projects).
- Willingness to learn and receive constructive feedback.
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts to ensure seamless 24/7 operational coverage.
- If required, the ability to modify work schedule to better align with the standard business hours of another geographic region to ensure 24/7 global events coverage.
- Flexibility – we’re a small company that is rapidly evolving to meet client needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- 1-5 years in military or law enforcement intelligence, GSOC, newsrooms, or investigative analysis roles.
- Experience in structured analytic techniques (SATs), threat assessments, or finished intelligence.
- Undergraduate degree in International Relations, Foreign Policy, Foreign Affairs or other similar area of study; regional focus on Middle East & North Africa is a bonus.
- Fluent in English-language with a high level of proficiency in reading and writing.
- Strong written communication skills – ability to write for senior clients under deadline.
- Proficiency in a range of computer skills and technologies.
What Seerist Offers:
- An opportunity to work in a fast-moving, high-growth SaaS company.
- Strong results-oriented, dynamic and diverse culture.
- Competitive salary, pension, and equity potential.
- Comprehensive medical and life assurance benefits.
- A flexible and fun work environment that values work life balance.
