About the Role
The Customer Solution Specialist (CSS) role is dedicated to providing technical support and subject matter expertise, delivering product advice and solutions to our regional sales teams and customers.
The role may have a domain specialism and sits within the regional Customer Solutions team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Product Knowledge
- Become proficient as a generalist CSS across the Seequent product range including Oasis Montaj, Res2D/3D, Workbench, Central, and other products or solutions as required;
- Learn from the customer how, what, where and why they are using our products or competitive products and the problems that they are attempting to solve, then feed that information back to the appropriate teams within the business;
- Develop and share your own technical expertise to provide advisory support to customers, colleagues, and peers enabling them to be successful in meeting their objectives.

- Provide solutions appropriate to the clients’ needs and to improve their business results;

- Sales / Revenue Generation
- Be a team player, working as part of the regional team to identify and progress opportunities within new and existing customers;
- Gather market intelligence;
- Market development – setting up demonstrations, webinars and supplying product information to prospective customers;
- Be a CRM champion by ensuring the accurate maintenance of the client database which provides Segment and Product Management with vital market information relating to future business pipeline.
- Marketing and Business Goals
- Actively monitor customer satisfaction levels and work to improve outcomes and customer perceptions;
- Assist, facilitate and support all product upgrades, new releases and new products.
- Working Conditions
Hybrid work mode, visits to client sites, travel required.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in geophysics
- Tertiary qualification in geophysics, geology, earth sciences, or a closely related discipline
- Solid grounding in geophysical principles, processing and data interpretation
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: UXO (offshore or onshore), Environmental or contamination investigations, Groundwater or near-surface geophysics, Mineral exploration or consulting
- Experience with potential field methods (gravity, magnetics) required
- Experience with Oasis Montaj, Res2DInv/3DInv and Workbench;
- Experience in electrical or electromagnetic geophysical methods (ERT, IP, EM, etc.) would be advantageous
- Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with geospatial or 3D modelling workflows
- Experience with Python or similar programming tools for geoscientific workflows is desirable
- Exposure to emerging geophysical or data-driven approaches (e. g., machine learning, drone-based surveys, distributed sensing) is advantageous
