We operate in 145+ countries while proudly maintaining headquarters in New Zealand. **The Role** Reporting to the Director, Sales, Civil, Energy & Environment, EMEA, this role is accountable for translating regional sales strategy into team plans and operational initiatives that drive commercial performance, customer retention, and sustainable growth across strategically managed Civil, Energy & Environment accounts. The role leads and develops experienced Account Managers while remaining hands-on with select key accounts. **In this role, you will have the opportunity to:** * Translate account management strategy into clear team plans, priorities, and short-term initiatives aligned with regional and organizational goals.* Own team sales plans, forecasts, budgets, targets, and KPI performance, and report on activity, risks, opportunities, and outcomes.* Lead, coach, and develop experienced Account Managers, setting day-to-day objectives and supporting key accounts, deals, and initiatives.* Make sound tactical decisions within established guidelines to manage risk, capture opportunities, and strengthen account growth and retention.* Oversee key deals and negotiations, providing guidance and approval as appropriate while using regional and company-wide resources effectively.* Drive joint account planning and execution with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other Bentley Systems colleagues.* Improve systems, processes, and ways of working to increase team efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.* Contribute to regional planning for headcount, resourcing, growth initiatives, budgets, career development, and team culture.**To be successful in this role, you should have:** * A minimum of 10 years of sales and account management experience, ideally in Civil, Energy & Environment, geotechnical, or technically complex software environments.* Experience in the Civil, Energy & Environment industry; geosciences experience would be an asset.* Demonstrated people-management experience, including work planning, prioritization, coaching, career development, and performance management.* Strong commercial capability in sales planning, forecasting, negotiation, contract management, and key-account leadership.* Proven ability to lead experienced individual contributors while maintaining hands-on involvement with customers and strategic deals.* Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, training, and influencing skills across cultures, roles, and customer personas.* Highly analytical judgment and decision-making, with the ability to solve non-routine problems and adapt tools, processes, and approaches.* Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization, with calm, collaborative execution in a fast-paced and changing environment.**Additional Information** Hybrid Work from the local office 2 days a week and home-based the remainder of the week. #LI-DM1 **Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion** At Seequent, we champion the uniqueness of each individual.
