An award-winning retail design agency who partners with leading retailers and consumer brands across brand design, strategy and interiors is looking for a Mid-weight 2D Designer to join their talented team. You will be working with a diverse range of exciting brands across culture, fashion, sports, and technology. This busy studio wants someone who can effectively work across creative solutions for retail, brand experience, and brand communications projects, working with the internal and external team to realize work from concept to completion.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and execute high-quality graphic and motion assets across various formats – across print and digital media.
- Work closely with the creative and account management teams to exceed client expectations, helping to deliver high‑quality design work.
- Working alongside the studio team to develop new concepts and strong creative solutions.
- Delivers strong design presentations with compelling narratives to clients using existing tools and design approaches.
- Take ownership of creative challenges from brief to delivery, including presenting and developing client relationships.
- Possesses great storyboarding skills to plan, visualise and technically execute print and motion graphics projects before production.
- Creates visual concepts and designs for various media, including retail, print and digital.
- Possesses the ability to create and maintain brand assets.
- Produces custom illustrations and graphics to enhance visual content.
- Demonstrates strong industry knowledge and expertise.
- Work closely with us to deliver our human‑centric proposition.
- Maintains consistently high‑quality design standards on all projects.
- Attends and inputs into creative briefs and brainstorms and supports on the agency’s creative output.
- Stays up to date on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in both graphic and motion design.
- Continuously experiments with new techniques and styles to keep designs fresh and innovative.
Desired Skills And Experience:
- 4+ years experience as a graphic designer.
- Client‑facing experience.
- Experience in mentoring junior team members on multiple briefs.
- Proficient in responding to creative briefs with a strong mind for ideation and conceptual design.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, After Effects, Miro and Figma.
- An education and passion for retail, interiors, design and branding.
- Open‑minded and willing to adapt to, and absorb company work methods whilst being eager and motivated to improve standards as part of a group decision.
- 3D visualization and animation skills not required but would be a bonus.
- The ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings.
- The ability to produce graphics schedules and sign off print proofs.
- The ability to work with producers and print vendors to execute print media.
- An attention to detail and ability to work in a highly productive environment.

Time and location: Candidate will be expected to work standard hours from 9am to 5:30pm with a degree of flexibility. Candidate will operate from the London, Shoreditch office. We are currently operating 3 days in the office minimum and 2 days WFH.
