Responsibilities

  • I will be supporting people in developing and maintaining daily living skills.
  • I will be identifying and meeting the needs of those we care for.
  • I will be developing and maintaining relationships with people, team members and the local community.
  • I will be positively encouraging choices in keeping with the rights of people with a Learning Disability.
  • I will be participating and assisting with defined care plans encouraging individuals to take an active role in all aspects of daily living.

All applicants will be taken through a Telephone Screening Interview with our Talent Resourcing Advisors and a Competency Based Interview with the relevant Locality Manager. All candidates will be subject to onboarding checks which include, but not limited to, right to work, Enhanced DBS and reference checks. All new team members will have a First Day Induction Training held at our office in Acocks Green (travel is fully expensed on the day). Some of our service users require specific ethnicities, male or female support workers only, where this is indicated it is a genuine occupational requirement, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

Expected hours: 35 per week.
