Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Supervise and support junior staff, providing guidance and leadership to enhance team performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of residents\’ progress and any changes in their condition.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in Residential and Nursing care.
  • Administration of medication to residents.

Qualifications and requirements

  • A genuine passion for working with residents and enhancing their quality of life through compassionate care
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
