Commissioning Technician
You will be providing technical support to projects throughout SMD and liaising between Customers, Engineering and Project Managers to provide clients with quality product, commissioned to the requirements of the project and specification.
About the role
Ensuring vehicles and associated equipment have been correctly manufactured
Mechanical/Hydraulic bias
Diagnosing and fixing faults
Functional testing of equipment
Ensuring test paperwork is correctly completed
Demonstrating systems to customers
Answering technical queries
Continuous improvement
QA checks
Work off site when required.
Work as part of the Production team as required.
Travel worldwide where required to work both on land and offshore
What skills and qualifications do I need?
Relevant HNC qualification
Time served technician with fault finding experience
Control & Instrumentation experience
Offshore Survival certificates (desirable)

- Relevant HNC qualification
- Time served technician with fault finding experience
- Control & Instrumentation experience
- Basic mechanical & hydraulic knowledge
- Basic PLC knowledge & experience
