• We are recruiting daytime and evening/weekend food and beverage staff for events team and our bar/restaurant outlets. There are breakfast shifts starting from 7am in the morning and evening shifts that can finish around 2am, so whether you are an early riser or a night owl we have shifts to suit everyone.

• If you enjoy helping people and are a good communicator this could be the role for you.

About the role

• Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy customer focused environment.

• Ability to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference and Events desirable

• Ensure compliance of brand standards

• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service

• Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner-following policy for customer details

• Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner

• Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service.

• Up-sell with latest departmental incentives

• Strive to achieve departmental targets.

• Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms.

• Compliance with cash handling procedures

• Maintain a high standard of hygiene/cleaning in restaurant/back of house areas.

• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

• Comply with local licensing laws.

• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

• Compliance with company grooming standards.

• Compliance with company phone policy

• Compliance with company smoking policy.

• Compliance with food hygiene regulations

• Awareness of food allergens and follow company procedures.

• Any other reasonable management instructions

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
• Good communication skills
• Right to work in UK
• Good understanding of English language
• must be age 18+
• available to work across a 7 day week

Desired Criteria

• 6 months food and beverage experience
