What We're Looking for:
We are seeking someone with previous kitchen, catering or food service experience who can confidently support the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen environment. Or an enthusiastic individual looking to begin a career in catering, who is willing to learn, develop new skills and grow within the role.
You will need:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality setting (desirable)
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling practices
- A reliable and organised approach to work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to support others
Your responsibilities:
- Supporting the Head Chef and catering team with meal preparation
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Assisting with residents' dietary requirements and nutritional needs
- Ensuring food hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent catering service
