AG is recruiting a Specification Consultant for the Greater London region—a pivotal role designed to drive growth by increasing specifications for AG’s paving and hard landscaping solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Promote AG’s paving and landscaping products to architects and specifiers.
- Deliver CPD presentations and technical sessions to groups and individuals.
- Plan and manage client meetings and professional development activities.
- Use CRM to manage contacts and track specification growth.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Provide feedback to inform new product development.
- Support clients and sales teams with technical advice on-site.
- Advocate for AG’s culture and values in all interactions.
Required Criteria:
- Good geographical knowledge of the region.
- 5 GCSE’s including English & Math’s grade A-C.
- Computer literate.
- Minimum 3 years specification/technical sales experience in the construction sector.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to recognise commercial opportunities and develop new business.
- Technically competent.
- Strong relationship builder.
- Strong networker/negotiator.
- Positive attitude.
- Reliable.
- Self-motivated.
- Confidence to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
- Flexible to work additional hours and make overnight stays away from home as required.
