About the role

Requirements:

  • UK Driving License (and vehicle for driving between client’s properties).
  • Applicant must be available from 07:00-14:00 and/or 16:00-22:00.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our service users with a variety of daily living tasks that promote their dignity, well-being and independence.
  • Assisting with all personal care needs including undressing, washing, bathing, and toileting needs.
  • Assisting with mobility problems and other physical disabilities by supporting them to move around their homes using the appropriate equipment.
  • Assisting with household tasks e.g. laundry, grocery shopping, washing up etc.
  • Supporting service users to access their local community e.g. attend appointments, shopping.
  • Supporting with, or administering prescribed medication (full training is provided).
  • Caring for service users that are at the end of their life or have progressive illnesses.
  • Keeping records of our service user's health and well-being, using up to date technology.
