Main Purpose of the Job
To build and assemble bespoke machinery and project-based assemblies from purchased, fabricated, and painted components. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble bespoke machinery, project-based assemblies, and full machines using fabricated, purchased, and painted components.
- Interpret and work from assembly drawings, CAD models, engineering specifications, and production documentation.
- Adapt to a variety of assembly tasks and changing project requirements, often working on unique or one-off builds.
- Support the successful delivery of customer projects by maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Work across multiple assembly operations and product lines as required by business and project needs.
- Identify and resolve assembly challenges, escalating issues and contributing to continuous improvement activities where appropriate.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new assembly techniques, products, and manufacturing processes as projects evolve.
- Ensure assemblies, tools, workstations, and surrounding work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe.
- Assist with the dismantling and preparation of completed machines for containerisation, transportation, and installation.
- Complete all work in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management standards.
- Comply with all company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
