We are looking for local people who are passionate about providing an outstanding level of care and going the extra mile for our residents. We currently have a vacancy at our Valley Lodge Care home working 36.75 hours a week over 3 days. The dementia support worker role relies on a passion to learn; a passion to enable people with dementia to live well; hold excellent communication skills and the ability to accept a person for who they are.
About the role:
- You will be assisting residents with all aspects of their care including assisting with mealtimes and personal care.
- You will be responsible for administrating medication and liaising with outside professionals.
- Your experience in dementia doesn’t necessarily need to be paid experience; you might have cared for a family member or friend.
- Don’t worry about needing any formal qualification, we can support you with this should you be successful in gaining a role with us.
We will pay you an attendance bonus just for turning up to work!
