CORE HOURS: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:00pm

About the role
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery
- Work with automated systems, robotics, and PLCs
- Help troubleshoot and maintain mechatronic systems to ensure optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing and automated systems
- Support production teams to resolve technical issues
- Support the installation of new equipment or systems in the workplace
- Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Willingness to learn, be motivated and enthusiastic
- Able to demonstrate good technical awareness and attention to detail
- A team worker with good organisational, leadership & communication skills
- Attend classroom-based learning sessions for theoretical knowledge
- Participate in training and certification programs offered as part of the apprenticeship
