We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Dundonald Links Resort & Golf Club in Gailes. Hourly rate of £13.21. This is a permanent position to work full time hours, 40 hours across variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor will help deliver an exceptional dining and hospitality experience for our members, guests and visitors. Working within our golf club restaurant, the Canny Crow, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day food and beverage service. You will lead by example, support and motivate the team, and make sure our high standards of service, presentation and customer care are consistently maintained. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise the restaurant and bar team during service, ensuring an efficient and welcoming experience for members and guests.
- Lead by example and provide support, guidance and coaching to team members.
- Ensure food and beverage service is delivered to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation of all areas within the department.
- Work with the Front of House team to ensure motivation is high and required training is completed.
- Assist with efficient stock rotation and assist with the ordering of stock.
- Take and serve food and drink orders.
- Address any customer concerns to an appropriate standard, and escalate where necessary.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Similar previous experience is essential.
- A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills.
- The ability to communicate with customers and team members in a friendly, clear and concise manner.
- A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort.
