We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

Support clients with mobility and transfer activities, ensuring safety at all times

Help with meal preparation and feeding, respecting dietary requirements and preferences

Aid in medication management and administration as per care plans

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment

Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies

Follow care plans meticulously to meet individual needs and preferences

Assist with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and comfortable living space

Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Skills
-
Valid driving licence is desirable for supporting home care visits

Experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous

Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans accurately

Good IT skills for maintaining records and documentation

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills

Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
