We’re currently recruiting for Full time and Part time Bookmakers Clerks in the Belfast Area. This is an entry level position and we are keen for all staff to progress quickly. Therefore, training will be provided to ensure that confidence in all aspects of independently running a successful betting shop are achieved.
The Job:
- Processing bets and assisting with customer queries
- Working as part of a team to assist the day to day running of the shop
- Building relationships with customers and making them feel at home by delivering excellent customer service
- Maintaining high shop standards
Our shop hours are Monday-Sunday, 9am-9pm and contracted hours will be allocated on a weekly rota basis.
About the role
This is what we're looking for:
Essential:
- Good communicator
- Flexible - as our business operates 7 days a week
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Enthusiastic people person
- Reliable and hands-on team member
- Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a customer facing role or previous experience with cash handling
Desirable:
- Demonstrable IT skills
- 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above
- Full UK clean driving license
