About the role
We're looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our friendly team at Hawkchurch Resort.
In this role, you'll help deliver a warm, welcoming, and high-quality dining experience for our guests. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll assist with the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant and bar, ensuring service is efficient, professional, and enjoyable for every guest. Your positive attitude and excellent customer service skills will help create memorable holiday experiences from the moment guests arrive.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient service to all guests

Take food and drink orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure accuracy and quality at all times

Support the set-up and clear-down of restaurant and bar areas

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout all front-of-house areas

Handle payments and operate tills accurately where required

Assist with stock replenishment and rotation

Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations

Follow all food safety, hygiene, licensing, and company procedures

Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and queries

Help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return
What we're looking for

A friendly, positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service

Previous experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
