Would you like to join the Team at the Titanic Hotel Belfast and continue to build and grow your career? We are currently looking for an Assistant Night Manager to join us! At Titanic Hotel Belfast, we look for people who are friendly, welcoming and full of life, people who are always finding ways to make every guest’s experience enjoyable.

Job purpose: To ensure the daily security of hotel guests and the hotel as a whole, in particular during times of emergency. To provide services for hotel guests overnight. To supervise and aid in the cleaning of the hotel for the beginning of a new operational day.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To carry out the minimum of two security checks at regular intervals with special emphasis on security, fire and safety each night.
  • To run the Night Audit.
  • To monitor the Front Desk overnight.
  • To check in and out hotel guests, and assist with luggage when required.
  • To serve room service food and liquor to hotel guests in line with company standards.
  • The preparation of room service breakfast trays and service to the rooms when required.
  • Maintenance of all control systems and ensure all revenue is correctly charged and monies are securely kept for the payment of services and posting in the POS and PMS as appropriate.
  • Ensure you have a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained.
  • Actioning of early morning calls at the time specified and to the hotel’s standards.
  • Cleaning of areas as requested and necessary, removal of all rubbish, trays, crockery and glassware from public areas, bedroom corridors as necessary.
  • To establish a friendly and helpful attitude to all guests and staff.
  • To attend all relevant training as and when required.
  • To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary.
  • To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law about the following company regulations: Fire regulations and procedures, Health and safety regulations, First aid procedures.
  • To ensure that the company dress code is always adhered to.
  • To undertake special duties or work outside the normal daily/weekly routine but within the overall scope of the position at the request of your Supervisor/Line Manager.

  • Hospitality experience.
  • Duty Manager experience.
