The predicted salary is between 11.7 - 14.3 £ per hour.
We value the hard work and commitment from our Live-In Carers which is often reflected in the 5-star rated reviews that we receive. We are seeking Live-in Carers who are self-employed, have an Enhanced Adult Only DBS (on the update service, preferably) and have their required training in place and up-to-date. The courses we require are as follows:
- Moving and Handling;
- Basic Life Support / First Aid;
- Medication;
- Safeguarding;
- Infection Prevention Control;
- Mental Health Capacity / MCA & DoLs;
- Food Safety; and,
- Diet Fluid and Nutrition., Assistance with daily living activities such as:
- Getting Up / Going to bed
- Dressing and Undressing
- Washing, bathing, grooming (personal hygiene)
- Eating & Drinking (Nutrition) - preparing and serving meals
- Using the toilet, maintaining continence, managing incontinence
- Moving and transferring
- Tooth and denture care
- Checking spectacles and hearing aids
- Help during the night - settling down service, terminal night care
- Sleeping night duty
- Waking night duty
Health related tasks that the Client would normally take responsibility for e.g.
- Maintaining Medical regime
- Catheter and Stoma care
- Prevention of pressure sores
- Sight Loss
- The reporting of any significant changes in Clients' wishes, condition or environment to the Office immediately.
Domestic Service
- Light house cleaning duties
- Laundry and ironing
- Meal preparation
- Shopping and errands
Social and Emotional Support
- Promote a sense of wellbeing
