We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Hairdresser to provide professional hairdressing services to our residents in our fully equipped on-site salon.
This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to our residents' wellbeing and confidence.
The successful applicant will ideally hold an NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing or have a minimum of five years' experience in ladies' and gentlemen's hairdressing.
Experience in roller setting, perming, shampooing, blow-drying and traditional styles for older clients would be highly advantageous.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Hairdressing, or equivalent professional qualification, or a minimum of 5 years' salon experience.
- Experience cutting, styling and maintaining both ladies' and gentlemen's hair.
- Competent in roller setting, shampooing, blow-drying and traditional styling techniques.
- High standards of personal presentation, hygiene and professionalism.
- Understanding of infection prevention and control, hygiene and health and safety practices.

- Previous experience working within a care home, nursing home or healthcare environment.
- Experience supporting people living with dementia.
- Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate residents' needs.
