No two days will look quite the same. You'll help keep the home organised, compliant and running smoothly, with responsibilities including:
- Supporting the day-to-day administration of the home.
- Being a warm and professional point of contact for residents, families, visitors and professionals.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, staff records, absence, training and HR administration.
- Preparing payroll information and supporting invoices, petty cash and resident expenses.
- Maintaining accurate records, trackers and compliance documentation.
- Supporting audits, meetings and quality assurance.
- Working closely with managers and teams across the home to improve the way we do things.
The full role spans administration, communication, staff, payroll, finance and compliance, with accuracy and confidentiality particularly important.
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and exceptionally reliable, but just as importantly, someone who is warm, approachable and enjoys being part of a busy team.
You'll need to be comfortable juggling different priorities, spotting when something hasn't been done and taking responsibility for getting it sorted.
You'll have
- Strong administration and IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication
- A professional approach to confidential information
- The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- A calm, positive and solution-focused approach
- Great people skills and a willingness to help
Previous care-home experience would be useful, but for the right person, attitude, capability and values matter just as much.
The role places particular emphasis on reliability, organisation, emotional intelligence, initiative and remaining solution-focused in a busy environment.
Later this year, Salveo Care will open Wendover Manor, our new purpose-built care home in Wendover.
We're a family-owned care provider with a simple ambition: to challenge the way people think about ageing and create homes where people feel safe, valued, connected and supported to live well.
We're now looking for a brilliant Care Home Administrator to join us as we prepare to open Wendover Manor.
You'll be at the heart of the home - supporting our management team, helping our staff, welcoming residents and families, keeping important systems on track and making sure the hundreds of little details behind the scenes are taken care of.
As part of the Wendover Manor team, you'll have the opportunity to join us from the beginning, help shape how the home operates and become part of a growing organisation where ideas are welcomed and good people have opportunities to develop.
- Staff meals
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Blue Light Card discounts
- Cycle to Work scheme
- Staff parties & social events
- Wellness initiatives
- Training & development
- Opportunities to grow as Wendover Manor develops
If you're someone who loves keeping things organised, notices the details others miss and genuinely enjoys helping people, we'd love to hear from you.
