Responsibilities

  • Ventilation management, including monitoring respiratory status, maintaining equipment, recognising signs of deterioration, and responding to emergencies.
  • Home Oxygen therapy, ensuring safe administration, monitoring oxygen saturation where prescribed, and following oxygen safety procedures.
  • Medication Management, including the safe administration, recording, storage, and monitoring of prescribed medications.
  • Epilepsy and Rescue Medication, requiring staff trained to recognise seizure activity, administer prescribed rescue medication, and follow emergency protocols.
  • PEG Feeding support, including administration of nutrition, hydration, medication via PEG, stoma site care, and recognition of complications., Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
  • Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate care documentation
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and families
  • Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months UK care experience
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Strong spoken and written English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills for documentation
  • Enhanced DBS required

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with children or complex needs preferred but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle preferred

Client: Supporting a 12-year-old female at home with the following complex health and care needs requires a highly skilled, person-centred approach to ensure safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Hours: Monday and Wednesday Night - 21:30 - 07:30 Pay: Β£12.71 - Β£14.72
