Responsibilities
- Ventilation management, including monitoring respiratory status, maintaining equipment, recognising signs of deterioration, and responding to emergencies.
- Home Oxygen therapy, ensuring safe administration, monitoring oxygen saturation where prescribed, and following oxygen safety procedures.
- Medication Management, including the safe administration, recording, storage, and monitoring of prescribed medications.
- Epilepsy and Rescue Medication, requiring staff trained to recognise seizure activity, administer prescribed rescue medication, and follow emergency protocols.
- PEG Feeding support, including administration of nutrition, hydration, medication via PEG, stoma site care, and recognition of complications., Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
- Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
- Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Build trusting relationships with clients and families
- Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months UK care experience
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Strong spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills for documentation
- Enhanced DBS required
Desired Criteria
- Experience with children or complex needs preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle preferred
