SeeMe Index is an early-stage AI startup building an industry-first SaaS platform to measure inclusivity across marketing, products and overall brand presence. We combine computer vision (Open-source models) + LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) to analyze images, videos, and content—unlocking insights into how brands can grow via diverse audiences. We’re moving from v1 product → scalable SaaS product and are hiring our first Founding Engineer to help lead that journey.
This is a 0→1, high-ownership role working directly with the founders (based in New York). You’ll help build and scale the product, shape technical decisions, and bring our platform from early prototype to production-ready SaaS.
What You’ll Do
- Build and scale our AI-powered platform (image, video, and content analysis)
- Work with evolving computer vision models and LLM integrations (ie OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
- Develop full-stack features across frontend and backend
- Help evolve the product from early-stage product → subscription-based SaaS
- Design systems for client-facing insights and customization
- Collaborate on customer demos and technical solutions
- Improve performance, scalability, and reliability across the platform
Tech Stack
- Current Tech Stack: Laravel + PHP
- AI/ML: Computer Vision + LLMs
- Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP
- Focus: Integrating and building on existing AI models (not rebuilding from scratch)
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience building product/SaaS applications
- Strong backend + API development experience
- Exposure to AI/ML or data-heavy systems is a plus
- Comfortable in startup environments (ambiguity, ownership, speed)
- Leverage AI for high-velocity development
- Product-minded—able to think through tradeoffs and real-world use case
- Mission-aligned- helping brands grow via inclusivity
Why Join
- Build a category-defining AI product from the ground up
- Work directly with experienced founders (ex-Google)
- High ownership, visibility, and impact
- Mission-driven work at the intersection of AI, data, and brand growth
