About the role
As a Trainee Assembly Technician, your day-to-day will be a hands-on experience in building world-class machinery. You'll work with fabricated and machined parts, using a range of tools to assemble components according to detailed drawings and digital models. Required Criteria
- A strong practical aptitude and a genuine interest in mechanical assembly and machine building.
- Ability to carefully follow both verbal and written instructions.
- A willingness to learn how to read assembly drawings, digital models and technical information.
- Good attention to detail with a strong commitment to safe working practices and quality workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work to production standards and deadlines.
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively as part of a team and accept constructive feedback.
Desired Criteria
- Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction, agriculture, vehicle maintenance or another practical environment.
- Basic experience using hand or power tools, gained through work, education or personal projects.
- Basic computer confidence for accessing work instructions and recording production information.
- Relevant vocational, engineering or mechanical training.
