Live-in Carer (Experienced)

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-in Carers who are fluent in Eastern European Languages to provide essential support, companionship, and assistance with daily living for clients. This is a profoundly rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference, becoming an integral part of someone's daily routine and ensuring they receive person-centred care in their native language. We are specifically looking for a Russian, Hungarian or Polish-speaking professionals to meet our client's unique communication needs.

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

Eastern European Language speaker only

• Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming).

• Assisting with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids if required.

• Administering or prompting medication as directed.

• Preparing meals and supporting with feeding where necessary.

• Housekeeping duties include cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.

• Companionship – engaging in conversation, hobbies, and social activities.

• Supporting with shopping, appointments, and outings.

• Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or well-being to family members or healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in care (professional or personal) preferred but not always essential.

• Kind, patient, and empathetic nature.

• Good communication skills and ability to follow care plans.

• Flexibility and reliability.

• Willingness to live in the client’s home, providing support as required.

• Basic cooking and housekeeping skills.
