About the role

Would you like to have a job that allows you to help people with learning disabilities live their lives to the fullest?

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our teams in Inverness, where your duties will involve the day-to-day support provided to a community of people who have been living in their Key homes for 40 years. A typical day involves assisting people with their medication, shopping, social outings, housework, and engaging within their local community on projects and advocacy. You’ll be working with a close knit team of experienced and dedicated support workers, working under the local manager to ensure that everyone’s expectations are met according to their own person centred needs. You’ll be involved in support planning, team meetings, regular supervision, holiday planning, advocating for their rights at appointments and meetings, and ensuring that they are safeguarded as best as possible and able to explore any opportunities that arise.

Typical shifts can run Monday to Friday, 9-5pm, with days split up between full shift, morning shift, and afternoon shift. At Key we strive for continuity and would be keen to see applicants understanding of the trust and companionship that people living their lives on their own terms deserve.
