Getting the fundamentals right, such as the right checks, accurate contracts and a smooth first week, directly shapes the care our residents receive. As our HR Generalist, you'll be the person who makes sure that happens consistently across the whole group, as part of a supportive HR team that trusts you to get on with it.,
Responsibilities
- Taking accountability for HR administration and compliance across Head Office and all nine of our homes
- Setting and maintaining standards across the group: training, guiding and quality-assuring our Home Administrators, and auditing HR compliance in our homes and with the agencies we use
- Holding sign-off authority on pre-employment checks, offer letters, contracts, leavers and the HR elements of payroll
- Working closely with our recruitment team and Home Managers to keep new starters moving smoothly through to their first day, and checking that onboarding is working well across the group
- Contributing to board-level HR reporting and improving the systems and processes behind our HR administration
If you're an experienced Senior HR Assistant ready for more responsibility, or a HR Officer who enjoys getting the detail right, this role offers real ownership, sign-off authority and the chance to see the difference your work makes across a multi-site group., Working knowledge of UK employment law, including right to work, DBS and data protection requirements - CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) or equivalent; Level 5 would be a bonus
- Sound judgement: confident resolving routine matters yourself and clear on when to escape
- Strong attention to detail, and the confidence to hold others to a high standard
- Multi-site or health and social care experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential, Must have prior experience as a Senior HR Assistant or HR Officer.
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in HR processes.
- Must be able to ensure consistent HR fundamentals across a multi-site group.
- Must be willing and able to travel regularly to various homes/sites.

Salary and benefits
- Β£38,000-Β£40,000 per annum
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
- Based at Head Office, Borehamwood, WD6 1NA, with travel to our homes as required
