We're hiring Care Assistants to join our team supporting elderly residents with daily life — from helping someone get ready in the morning, to sharing their favourite meal, to being a friendly, familiar face they look forward to seeing. About the role
39 hours per week
Working 3-4 shifts a week including alternate weekends
Night shifts: 8pm - 8am
£12.71 to £12.81 per hour, plus night and weekend enhancements
What you'll actually be doing
- Helping residents with the everyday things — washing, dressing, eating, getting around — in a way that respects their dignity and independence
- Getting to know the people you support and their families, so care feels personal, not procedural
- Supporting mealtimes, activities, and the small daily moments that make a real difference
- Working as part of a close team who look out for each other, not just the residents
- Keeping accurate records and flagging anything that needs attention — we'll train you on this properly
