The Sheffield Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) is seeking an experienced and motivated HSCT Quality Manager to support our Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) Programme. This is a vital role ensuring our service continues to meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Job Summary

As an accredited programme under the Joint Accreditation Committee ISCT‑Europe & EBMT (JACIE), and licensed by the Human Tissue Authority (HTA), we require a dedicated professional to help us maintain and further strengthen our quality management systems.

In This Pivotal Position, You Will Work Closely With:

  • The JACIE Programme Director (PD)
  • The HTA Designated Individual (DI)

Acting With Delegated Responsibility To:

  • Lead, develop and maintain the HSCT quality management system
  • Drive continuous improvement to support ongoing accreditation and licensing
  • Ensure all quality processes meet JACIE and HTA regulatory standards

About You

  • Highly organisational, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experienced in quality management within a healthcare or laboratory setting
  • Confident working with regulatory standards and accreditation frameworks
  • Able to build strong working relationships across clinical and laboratory teams

Main Duties of the Job

  • Hold responsibility for the establishment, maintenance and continuous improvement of the HSCT quality management system in compliance with regulatory standards to support continued accreditation and licensing.
  • Hold responsibility for the management, organisation and compliance of HSCT Programme accreditation and licensing inspection processes.
  • Participation and attendance in meetings relating to HSCT Programme activity.
  • Supporting management of written agreements relating to the HSCT Programme.
