About the Service
The Lodge at the Becton Centre is an inpatient unit providing holistic, compassionate mental health care for children and adolescents across South Yorkshire. The team is multidisciplinary, supportive and committed to continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Lodge team with support from nursing and departmental heads.
- Provide clinical leadership, offering senior medical advice and managing patient care plans.
- Oversee referrals into the team, coordinating assessment and weekly meetings.
- Ensure all patients receive high‑quality psychiatric assessments, treatment and care plans.
- Support team members, promoting clinical excellence and continuous development.
Qualifications
- MBChB or equivalent.
- Relevant specialist qualification or equivalent.
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry within 6 months of gaining CCT, or within 6 months of completion of training.
- Section 12(2) Approval.

- Working pattern: Full‑time.
- Salary (2026): £109,725 – £145,478 per annum (plus Real Living Wage £12.60 per hour).
