Job Summary

Full time – 37.5 hours per week – 12 month Fixed Term (Secondment for internal applicants)

We are looking for someone to join our centralised administrative team supporting the 0-19 Service. You will help to ensure the smooth running of clerical operations, providing confidential and efficient support to clinical staff and service users.

Responsibilities

  • Handle telephone enquiries in a contact centre setting.
  • Book appointments and manage rotas using Systm One.
  • Provide admin support to clinical staff including scanning, letter generation and data input.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, including clinical documentation.
  • Communicate with professionals such as GPs, midwives, social workers and interpreter services.
  • Manage stock levels and order stationery.
  • Participate in team meetings and personal development activities.

Key Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience.
  • NVQ II or equivalent level of knowledge and/or experience in relevant areas.

Desirable

  • RSAI/II in typing/word processing.
  • ECDL.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.

  • Empathetic.

Contract & Salary

Pay Scheme: Agenda for Change, Band 2, £24,465 a year (pro rata if part time)

Contract: Fixed term, 12 months, full-time, part-time work patterns available.
