Founding Python Back-End Engineer – £80,000 to £120,000+ (On site – London Bridge)

The product is already in use by select customers with demands few can meet, and the only thing holding back 10x growth is the need for more driven hands on deck.
The mission: deliver multimodal AI agent infrastructure that ingests, processes, and analyses millions of real-time events, surfacing actionable insight for the most ambitious businesses.

What Will You Build?
Python-powered core infrastructure for ingesting, processing and analysing massive real-time data streams; think millions of cost and revenue events daily.
Reliable APIs and streaming pipelines that support complex analytics and live dashboards for insight and transparency.
Machine learning backbone for anomaly detection, predictive margin analysis, and scalable attribution graphs.
Close collaboration with founding engineers—defining product standards and influencing company direction from the ground up.
Who’s the Ideal Fit?
- Knack for figuring out hard problems, moving quickly, and handling the creative chaos of early-stage product development.
- Minimum 3+ years building and scaling distributed, data-heavy backend systems in production environments.
- Advanced Python and experience with real-time event-driven architecture, modern SQL/NoSQL databases, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Obsession with reliability, scalability, security, and observability in backend systems.
- Bonus: Experience with machine learning infrastructure or agentic AI.
