If so, we’d love to meet you.
We’re working with a company on a mission to revolutionize audio creation—think of it as the Canva for audio. This team is building something truly special, going head-to-head with industry giants, and redefining how creators and businesses bring their ideas to life. Right now, they’re looking for exceptional Backend Engineers to join them.
Who You Are:
- You take full ownership of your work, proactively solving problems instead of just filing tickets, whether they require a simple tweak or a rethink of the system design.
- You excel at deconstructing challenges to their fundamental principles, you want to understand why things work a certain way before thinking about how to fix them.
- Focusing on scalability, you design systems that evolve seamlessly with the product, anticipating user needs before they emerge and refining interfaces to enhance engagement.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong foundation in Computer Science—ideally a first-class degree from a top-tier university.

What you'll be doing:
- Work on designing and optimizing databases for storing large video datasets and metadata.
- Implement APIs for video processing and AI model integration, enabling communication between front-end systems and AI-driven services.
- Handle compute-intensive tasks, such as processing video streams and managing the execution of AI models for video analysis, ensuring scalability and performance.
Why Join:
- Work directly with Youssef, the CTO.
- Work remotely most of the time, but meet up with the team at least once a month in person (London).
- Excel in a high-complexity environment, actively participate in dynamic technical discussions and view every challenge as an opportunity for growth.
- A salary of up to ÂŁ110 000 + the same in equity on a four-year vesting schedule.
