The People Director will be the strategic right hand to the Chief People Officer, leading a high-impact People Partnering & Advisory function. This role will influence at the highest levels, deliver transformative organisational initiatives, and embed a unified culture across a growing, acquisition-rich environment. The People Director will combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership to create a commercially-savvy, change-ready, high-performing people function.

The People Director will:

  • Lead the People Partnering & Advisory team to deliver a commercially focused, insight-driven people strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping decisions that drive performance and engagement.
  • Drive organisational design, workforce planning, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Oversee people integration for acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions and cultural alignment.
  • Build a reputation for the People team as indispensable to business success.

Essential skills:

  • Senior HR/People leadership experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment.
  • Expertise in organisational design, cultural transformation, and M&A integration (including TUPE).
  • Strong commercial acumen with data-led decision-making.
  • Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, evolving settings.
