Overview:
My client are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Global Head of Talent to lead and evolve our Talent Acquisition strategy across Europe. This is a highly strategic leadership role, responsible for building a world-class talent function that enables ambitious growth plans across multiple markets. The successful individual will partner closely with executive leadership to define and execute talent strategies that support business objectives whilst maintaining an exceptional hiring bar. The role will have a particular focus on scaling Go-To-Market functions across Europe, whilst also providing strategic leadership across broader Talent Acquisition initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Talent Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategy aligned to business growth objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and organisational growth.
- Build scalable recruitment frameworks and processes across multiple European markets.
- Drive long-term talent planning and succession initiatives.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team.
- Create a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Establish best-in-class recruitment practices across the organisation.
- Ensure consistency in hiring standards, candidate experience and employer branding.
- Go-To-Market Hiring Leadership:
- Oversee hiring across key commercial functions including: Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Marketing, Revenue Operations.
- Partner closely with commercial leadership teams to deliver hiring plans.
- Build proactive talent pipelines for critical revenue-generating functions.
- Executive Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives.
- Provide market intelligence, talent insights and hiring recommendations.
- Influence decision-making through data and external market expertise.
- Challenge stakeholders constructively to ensure the highest hiring standards.
- Talent Intelligence & Market Mapping
- Develop proactive talent mapping and competitor intelligence strategies.
- Identify emerging talent trends across Europe.
- Build long-term relationships with key talent communities.
- Ensure the organisation remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
- Data & Analytics
- Own Talent Acquisition metrics and reporting.
- Track hiring performance, productivity and forecasting.
- Drive data-led decision making across recruitment activity.
- Continuously optimise recruitment funnel performance and hiring outcomes.
Ideal Background:
Essential Experience:
- Strong experience scaling Go-To-Market organisations across Europe.
- Proven success building and leading Talent Acquisition teams.
- Experience recruiting across: Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, Revenue Operations.
- Strong stakeholder management experience at Executive and C-Suite level.
- Experience within technology, SaaS, FinTech or other high-growth environments.
Preferred Experience:
- International hiring experience beyond Europe.
- Experience operating within VC-backed, PE-backed or scale-up businesses.
- Exposure to Talent Operations and Workforce Planning.
- Experience building talent functions through periods of rapid growth and transformation.
