This role is not primarily about pushing the team harder or driving intensity for its own sake. What my clients need is someone who can operate strategically while still delivering through projects. The right person will be comfortable with ambiguity, agile in their thinking, and genuinely excited about building something together rather than stepping into a fully formed structure. They need to be able to span both the team and the broader organisation, emotionally and politically savvy, able to read the room, influence effectively, and build trust across stakeholders. At the same time, they must be confident enough to challenge constructively when needed. Data fluency is critical. We’re looking for someone who uses insight and evidence to shape decisions, keeps the big picture in mind, and ensures execution follows through. Strategy without delivery won’t work here.
