The Role

We\’re seeking a Senior Digital PR Strategist to lead the planning and execution of creative, SEO-driven outreach campaigns. This is a key role for a seasoned digital PR professional who thrives on innovation, loves diving into data, and has a proven track record of landing coverage that drives results.

You\’ll lead campaign ideation and delivery for a range of clients across different sectors while managing and mentoring our digital PR team. This is a senior level position where you’ll work closely with clients, contribute to new business, and help shape the future of our digital PR offering through ground breaking research and future PR AI software solutions.

Core Responsibilities

Ideation & Strategic Planning

  • Lead creative ideation sessions for existing clients and new business, using both traditional brainstorming and AI-powered tools
  • Develop data-driven campaign concepts that align with client SEO goals and target audiences
  • Create compelling pitch decks and confidently present strategies to C-suite stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of media trends, identifying reactive opportunities before competitors
  • Direct strategy and execution of concurrent high-impact digital PR campaigns
  • Leverage AI tools for data analysis, trend spotting, and brand search and discoverability
  • Ensure campaigns exceed KPIs: coverage targets, link quality metrics, and brand visibility goals
  • Pioneer new campaign formats: interactive tools, data visualisations, and multimedia content

Research, Outreach & Media Relations

  • Guide the team in advanced prospecting techniques using tools like BuzzSumo, Ahrefs
  • Build and nurture relationships with top-tier journalists and editors
  • Lead negotiations for exclusive coverage and strategic media partnerships
  • Develop sector-specific media strategies for diverse client verticals

Performance & Analytics

  • Track and analyse campaign performance using advanced metrics beyond basic coverage counts
  • Create insightful reports that demonstrate ROI and inform future strategies
  • Present quarterly business reviews to senior stakeholders
  • Contribute to agency thought leadership through data analysis and trend reports
  • Mentor and develop digital PR team members through regular 1-1s and training sessions
  • Champion best practices and process improvements across the department
  • Collaborate with other delivery teams including SEO and Content to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members

Business Growth & Innovation

  • Represent Seeker at industry events, awards, and speaking opportunities
  • Contribute to new business pitches with strategic insights and creative concepts
  • Gather and share client success stories and testimonials
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion and new revenue streams
  • Lead our AI adoption initiatives within the PR team

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 5-6 years\’ experience in Digital PR, with at least 2 years in a senior/lead role
  • Proven campaign portfolio demonstrating creative excellence and measurable results
  • Data confidence – comfortable analysing datasets and creating compelling data stories
  • Strategic mindset with ability to connect PR activities to broader business objectives
  • Exceptional writing skills across different formats and tones of voice
  • Media relationships with UK national and trade journalists
  • Leadership experience mentoring team members and managing stakeholders
  • Tech-savvy with experience using PR tools and enthusiasm for AI innovation
