At M Group Energy, were enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within ourEV team . Were working hard to make safe, quality, sustainable EV projects a reality. Our teams install charging stations, ensuring they are accessible and reliable, and ingrate them into the energy network.

What will you be doing?
Are you a dedicated Site Manager looking to join a dynamic team?

You\’ll coordinate personnel, sub-contractors, and site management, ensuring smooth delivery of construction activities. Do you enjoy liaising with clients and providing supervision and technical support? You\’ll lead by example in promoting high safety standards.
You\’ll ensure all data, records, and forms are accurately recorded and submitted on time. Are you meticulous about making sure plant, tools, and materials are available for the team? Reviewing and preparing construction phase plans, issuing permits, and writing and reviewing RAMS will be part of your responsibilities.
You\’ll set to work relevant operatives, supervisors, and sub-contractors, delivering daily activity briefs, end-of-shift debriefs, and toolbox talks. Do you enjoy supervising teams and implementing health, safety, well-being, environment, and quality standards?

What Youll Bring

  • Do you have experience in utilities infrastructure construction?
  • Are you competent in supporting front-line operational staff?
  • You\’ll need a working knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, safety, and statutory regulations.
  • Being logical and organized with excellent time management skills is essential.
  • Can you prioritize workload, make decisions, and meet challenging deadlines?
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate with clients and the operational team are crucial.
  • Are you computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook?
  • Practical setting out experience (use of GPS/Total station) and experience in managing and setting operational teams to work are required.
  • NRSWA Supervisor, CSCS Manager Card and SMSTS are necessary.
  • Full UK driving license youll be covering sites across the UK and must be happy to lodge away from home Monday Friday.
