Seek Staffing Ltd is looking for a compassionate and experienced EHCP Coordinator to support autistic young people aged 18-25 in Thurrock. This role is focused on helping young people develop real-life skills, independence, and confidence, in line with their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
You will deliver a mix of:
- One-to-one support
- Small group sessions
- Community-based activities
This is not a classroom-only role; it's about teaching practical life skills in real-life settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver support in line with each young person's EHCP outcomes
- Design and deliver life skills-based learning (e.g. cooking, budgeting, routines)
- Support young people with health, wellbeing, and emotional regulation
- Help young people access the community and build social skills
- Support pathways into education, training, or employment
- Work closely with families, carers, and professionals
- Record progress and outcomes clearly
What We're Looking For?
Essential:
- Experience working with SEND and autistic young people
- Strong understanding of EHCPs and outcome delivery
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Ability to deliver practical, real-life learning
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach
Desirable:
- Level 3/5 qualification in Health & Social Care, SEND, or similar
- Experience supporting young adults (18-25)
- Experience with complex needs or behaviours that challenge
