The role, based at the Coppermills WTW (London E17), requires a Procurement Engineer with strong experience managing subcontractors and administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts within the water utilities sector. You will support end‑to‑end procurement for a water infrastructure project. The role ensures robust procurement governance, contractual compliance, and smooth project delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop procurement strategies for project packages (civils, MEICA, pipelines, equipment).
- Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, lead tender evaluations, negotiate commercial and technical terms, and prepare award recommendations.
- Draft, review, and finalise subcontract agreements under NEC3/NEC4 frameworks.
- Manage subcontractor onboarding and performance for civils, mechanical, electrical, ICA, and specialist process‑equipment suppliers.
- Coordinate progress meetings, monitor KPIs, ensure compliance with HSE and QA requirements, and manage corrective actions.
