As the Maintenance & Reliability Engineer at Qwello UK, you will be a key player in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our EV charging infrastructure in the UK, bridging the gap between Technology and Operations. You'll take the lead in coordinating maintenance activities, optimising workflows, and driving continuous improvements. Acting as the central point of contact, you will foster collaboration between internal teams, external partners, and management to ensure seamless, high-performing service operations.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and oversee the operation and maintenance strategies for our Qwello UK charging infrastructure.
- Use your analytical mindset to identify priorities and areas of improvement.
- Collect and analyse data to generate actionable insights and comprehensive reports.
- Manage the interactions with the internal technical service team.
- Collaborate in the implementation of service and construction measures to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external companies to ensure high quality and timely execution of tasks.
- Proactively share your expertise and insights to elevate the team’s knowledge and performance.
- Facilitate seamless collaboration between the technical service team, parent company and management.
- Create and implement maintenance processes.
- Provide support to project managers.
Your Profile
- Degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Initial EV experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis for all maintenance-related issues.
- Excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to effectively communicate insights in writing.
- Ability to self-organise and lead in an environment of changing priorities; willingness to work on multiple tasks/content switching.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, additional language knowledge is a plus.
- Qualified electrician with Level 3 electrical installation qualification and 18th Edition BS 7671 is a plus.
- Linux knowledge would be a plus.
